The 59th annual Tri-State Band Festival was held on September 26, 2009 in Luverne, Minnesota. Sixteen bands marched in the Parade Competition and the Luverne Middle School and High School Bands marched in exhibition. All parade photos are now online!

2008 Tri-State Band Festival Parade

The 58th annual Tri-State Band Festival was held on September 27, 2008 in Luverne, Minnesota. Sixteen bands marched in the Parade Competition and the Luverne Middle School Band marched in exhibition.

2007 Quad-State Field Marching Competition

The 25th annual Quad State Field Marching Competition was held in the Dakotadome on the campus of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion on October 20, 2007.

2007 Sioux Falls Festival of Bands Field Competition

The 20th annual Festival of Bands was held in Sioux Falls, SD on October 6, 2007. Twenty nine area bands competed in four classes with the top ten bands competing in finals competition in the evening.

Big Sioux Review VIII (2007)

The eighth annual Big Sioux Review took place in Brandon, SD on September 29, 2007. Twelve bands participated in competition and host band the Brandon Valley Marching Lynx marched in exhibition.

2007 Tri-State Band Festival Parade

The 57th Tri_State Band Festival is the longest running marching band competition in the region. Bands from Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa participated in parade and field competition on September 29, 2007.

2007 Pursuit of Excellence

The 2007 "Pursuit of Excellence" marching competition was held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Mattke Field on the campus of Southwest Minnesota State University. Fifteen bands from Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa competed in four classes. Class ranking is based on the total number of winds and percussion in the band.

On May 27, 2007 the 189 members of the Brandon Valley High School Class of 2007 received their diplomas at commencement exercises at the BVHS Athletic Complex.
